We've got your back, ballers

We know it's a very worrying time out there at the moment, but we are here for you.

At Netball Nation we want to do what we can to help you stay fit and positive, especially if you are currently in self-isolation and during social distancing.

In our latest episode, we discuss how you can continue developing your fitness, take part in training sessions online and other ways to keep netball in your lives while at home.

Here, we've teamed up with England and Manchester Thunder player Laura Malcolm, who has given her three top tips on keeping active and proactive during the coronavirus pandemic. Check them out below:

1. Don't go crazy with your fitness! There are loads of new free workouts out there (which is amazing) but you don't have to do them all at once. Let's face it they aren't going anywhere and neither are you! You should aim to replicate your normal training levels and if you want to increase them do it at the same rate that you would in the normal world. 2. Try something new. Now that we probably have a bit more free time it's given us the opportunity to try something we wouldnt normally do. I highly recommend jumping on the yoga trend because it will be great for you both physically and mentally and is perfect for doing in the comfort of your own home. 3. Set an alarm. Routine gives us all a certain level of comfort and setting an alarm is a good way to maintain your routines when everything else seems to have come to a halt. I always like to get up and do my exercise first thing, which always seems to put me in a good place for the day ahead.

Laura is running her own fitness and advice sessions, which you can catch on Youtube
