The Vitality Roses continue to make headlines, as they're nominated for the BT Sport Action Woman Team of the Year Award alongside Chelsea FC Women and the GB Athletics 4 x 100 relay team.
The Commonwealth gold medallists are coming off the back of being named Team of the Year at the Sunday Times Sportswomen of the Year Awards just last week, and the hype surrounding the team is completely deserved after they secured a last-second win over home favourites Australia at the Commonwealth Games in April 2018.
The team's success is really helping to boost the coverage for netball and women's sport, and this year has been another outstanding year for women’s sporting achievements across the board: including the Roses’ history-making exploits; to the FA Women’s Super League launching a new full-time, fully professional structure; and Great Britain running to victory in the women’s 4x100m relay final in the European Championships in Berlin.
The winners will be announced at the BT Sport Action Woman of the Year Awards show, presented by Clare Balding and broadcast live on BT Sport 2 and online, from 7.30pm on Monday 3rd December 2018.
You can see the Vitality Roses back in action when they take on the Uganda She Cranes in a three-match test series in Liverpool and then London from 27 November to 2 December.
The team will then face four of the world’s best netball teams in January in the Vitality Netball International Series, as part of the Netball Quad Series for the last time before the Netball World Cup in July 2019. Get your tickets by visiting: tickets.englandnetball.co.uk
